A door with a fixed panel can be an alternative to create balance for the wider opening.  Glass clamps are used here to create a clean frameless appearance.  No metal channels are needed in most cases, but they can be used in place of glass clamps if that is your desired look.  Doors and panels are custom sized to meet your personal needs.  Doors may be hinged directly to a wall, even if a tile detail is protruding without the use of fillers or channels.
